Well. I have finally started using my new camera - a Canon EOS 1000D 'Digital Rebel' I guess it is what you could call an "entry model" into the professional SLR camera field. Not ridiculously expensive but surprisingly good value for money. The camera is extremely light in relation to its size but it feels robust and well-made. To be honest, as an inexperienced amateur photographer, I can not even begin to do the camera justice. Even so... I have always said that a good photographer can take great photos, regardless of the camera that he is using. I guess that is true - but I have also realized that with my poor photography skills, a good camera can certainly give much improved results!
